PostSubject: Report for today's locals   Sat Feb 11, 2012 2:51 pm

OK so i decided to do a report to copy frogsage and company. Today i decided to play total control scraps, i was going to test exodia today but i saw a wind up deck and decided not to as frogsage was playing dark world and their was a pretty good wind up deck their. We played four rounds of Swiss to top 8.

Round 1: Jason Smith (Gladiator beast)

G1: I opened with one beast and random spells and traps like scrapyard, i quickly lost after a few turns.

G2: I opened with tengu, maxx c , a veilar, a beast, scrapyard and a dustshoot. He had 2 tigers and a murmilo and useless traps, i had to much hand and field advantage.

G3: Royal Degree put into work, he cant keep up with scrap dragon combos.

Round 2: Alex Murie (Dark World) 1-0

G1: Good Game i couldn't keep up with his Grapha combos.

G2: He just wasn't drawing to well i went scrap dragon for the win.

G3: I don't remember this game to well i remember both of us were struggling to gain advantage he used reckless and had a card destruction in his hand and Graphas in the grave i lost quickly afterwards.

Round 3: Uqail Abrahams ( Fairy ) 1-1

G1: Controlled the game with veilar, Maxx C and dustshoot, he couldn't get a monster out.

G2: He opened badly but managed to POD into a Kristya and Hyperion combo for game.

G3: Scrap Dragon FTW!!!!! enough said.

Round 4: Yannick Yang ( Genex Control ) 2-1

G1: Maxx C and Veilar put into work as well as double Scrap Dragon FTW

G2: He managed to stall for a few turns with swords put i eventually got out Scrap Dragon and broke my beast for Chimera and brought out another one to break more cards.

3-1

Top 8: in no particular order because i forgot it Wink

8. Irshaad ( Glads)
7. Shoab ( Sams)
6. Yasu ( T.G plant)
5. Sha ( T.G variant)
4. Me (Scrap)
3. Uqail (fairy)
2. Zain
1. Alex ( Dark World)

Top 8: Yasu (T.G plant)

G1: i opened with only a spy he mind controlled it summoned spore and went into librarian, i drew nothing after that and he just kept attacking with librarian.

G2: I opened with the nuts, Maxx C helped a bit.

G3: He couldn't keep up with my Scrap Dragon combos.

Top 4:

(me

4. Zain
3. Me
2. Uqail
1. Sha (i am not to sure i think it was him)

Top 4: Zain (Machina)

G1: He killed me second turn after dustshooting my Gorz he exploded with Machinas.

G2: Good Game we were both top decking and were on low life unfortunately i drew into a royal degree which lost me the game as he drew a Gadget for the game.

Zain ended up beating Uqail in the final.

Overall i was pretty happy with the result as Scraps are a Tier 2 deck and i didnt expect them to win, i got a booster and pulled nothing, but there's always next time to pull a Tour Bus Wink
