One... Morphing Jar since it's Yugioh themed
Two... empty jar (yes, like the deck) = no new posts, Morphing Jar = full hand (new posts)
Three... it's round, works as an icon
Four... everyone knows Morphing Jar, it's iconic

Honestly I can put anything as the posts icon, but Morphing Jar seemed kind of clever.

Great new look!
But on a side note, maybe you should put up an iconic normal monster with the rest of the row of cards on the top to display the full set of the yugioh card range.
